Mitsubishi Motors has been cutting-edge with their latest designs, that’s why it is no surprise that the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan will be coming to the U.S market withing the next year. Mitsubishi showed a G4 sedan concept in 2013. And since the Mirage hatchback has had great success in the U.S. market, we are expecting the sedan to have the same success.
Mitsubishi will also refresh the rest of its lineup over the next year and a half, including the Lancer compact sedan and the Outlander Sport and Outlander crossovers. These updates are rumored to show a new styling direction for the brand, so you can expect some sort of corporate grille to permeate across these models. The highly anticipated plug-in hybrid version of the Mitsubishi Outlander will also debut within the next few months after already being on sale in other markets since 2014.
All-new Mitsubishi production model will make its debut at the New York Auto Show later this month.

Mitsubishi uses strict criteria guidelines to designate their vehicles as “certified pre-owned.” The vehicle must be under five years old and must have less than 60,000 miles. It must also pass a rigorous 123-point inspection. What this means for you as a car shopper is that when you purchase a certified pre-owned Mitsubishi, you have the confidence knowing it’s of the highest quality.
When buying a used car, it’s important to check the vehicle’s history report. When you visit us at Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi, you will receive a free CarFax vehicle report on all eligible certified models. We provide the highest level of transparency because you want you to feel confident with your purchase.
At Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi, we offer our exclusive lifetime warranty, Warranty Forever, on all eligible certified pre-owned vehicles. This includes an engine, transmission, and drive train warranty, including seals and gaskets, for as long as you own the vehicle. When we say “forever,” we mean forever. There is no deductible or separate parts and labor charges, and we do not tact on maximum mileage or ownership term criteria. Best of all, it comes at absolutely no cost to you. You don’t have to worry about “opting in” and getting hit with another couple $1,000 on your bottom line.
To help you have even more confidence in your purchase, Mitsubishi backs their certified pre-owned vehicles with free roadside assistance. This is a great service to have in the event one of your vehicle’s tire goes flat, the battery dies, you’re locked out of your vehicle or your vehicle runs out of gas.

For the most honest and accurate vehicle reviews, past and current drivers are your best bet. And there’s one car out there with a particularly loyal following—the Mitsubishi Mirage. Recently acknowledged for having the highest Model Loyalty in the Non-Luxury Traditional Sub-Compact Car Segment for the 2014 model year by IHS Automotive, the love for this car is apparent.
“We are delighted to receive this Model Loyalty recognition by IHS Automotive,” said Don Swearingen, Executive Vice President of MMNA. “Mitsubishi Motors has experienced growing customer loyalty across our entire model lineup through the years, and this award demonstrates that we are successfully retaining our current customers while simultaneously introducing new consumers to the brand.”
IHS Automotive recognizes automotive manufacturers for superior owner loyalty performance, which is determined when a household that owns a new vehicle returns to market and purchases or leases another new vehicle of the same make or model.
The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage achieves an astounding EPA fuel mileage rating of up to 37 mpg city/44 mpg highway and also has an NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) 4-Star Overall Vehicle Score.

The Outlander, along with two other Mitsubishi models, the Mirage and Outlander Sport, have earned the “Top Safety Pick” award from the Insurance Institute for Highway safety. The Outlander owes its award to its state-of-the-art technology features, especially the Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) feature. The S-AWC all-wheel drive system features the convenience of push-button activation in addition to four distinct driving modes – the standard “Normal” mode, enhanced traction in slippery conditions with the “SNOW” setting, maximum traction in “Lock” and an “AWC ECO” mode that maximizes fuel efficiency by operating primarily as a front-wheel drive vehicle that switches in a split-second to all-wheel drive when multiple sensors determine its necessity.
The Mitsubishi Outlander has been completely redesigned from last year. The latest and greatest Outlander offers an all-new interior upgrade featuring a more contemporary-looking aesthetic for the instrument panel, along with greatly improved materials including high-grade soft-touch premium surfaces. Other amenities for the 2015 Outlander include: automatic air conditioning with micron air filtration, an enhanced six speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 – compatible audio system; leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, convenient steering wheel-mounted audio system and cruise controls, halogen headlights, and a tilt and telescopic steering wheel!
